We proudly collaborate with current partners such as Health Impact Ohio (HIO) and the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) to develop innovative and impactful programs that address pressing public health challenges and promote equity and inclusion.
For Health Impact Ohio (HIO), we are proud contributors to their CHW Certification Program, where we teach a dedicated one-hour session for each new certification cohort on HIV. This session delves into critical topics such as living with HIV and the science behind it, helping to foster understanding and reduce stigma around HIV. Our work in this partnership ensures that future Community Health Workers are well-equipped with the knowledge and sensitivity required to address HIV-related challenges in their communities. With the Ohio Department of Health (ODH), we partnered this year (2025) on a significant training initiative focused on The Equity Mapping Tool (EMT). This training is designed to introduce participants to the public-facing dashboard, developed by The Ohio State University (OSU), that supports equity-focused decision-making in public health. The EMT dashboard allows users to visualize and analyze key data, empowering communities and organizations to identify and address disparities effectively.
